Wayne is the managing partner and co-founder of Twigg. His experience includes 8 years with Ernst & Young – two of which were served in their Management Consulting Division and the remainder in Corporate Audit. He worked for Abbey National Bank Plc in London as a re-engineer focussing on the design and support of back office reporting.

Wayne's term of office as director and investment committee member of MKN Private Equity (Pty) Ltd (a Khula Enterprise Limited subsidiary) has given him a sound understanding of the requirements of venture capitalists in evaluating potential investments.

Wayne is a strategic thinker who speaks IT. His strengths lie in his strong interpersonal skills, excellent control implementation and evaluation skills, broad IT experience and the ability to assist business in optimised planning and strategic direction.

Wayne served as a Trustee and Executive Committee Member of OMF International (Southern Africa), and chaired their finance committee for a number of years. He serves as honorary auditor of Wycliffe International and SIL (South Africa), as well as chairperson of 1st Howick Scouts parent body. He is also a guest lecturer at The Graduate School for the Humanities and Social Sciences (University of the Witwatersrand), and has lectured in Corporate Finance at The University of Kwa Zulu Natal.

He is a member of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
